While spectators wonder why the finale of season 2's episode was moved to the summer - a sudden move that led the viewers to think it was a prelude to the show's cancellation - CW forerunner answered by saying that they were in need of space.
"We had to put two mid-season shows on and we needed space," explained Pedowitz. "We're going to use "Beauty and the Beast at midseason or summer next year.
Pedowitz also spilled that "VinCat" fans will definitely see more of Vincent-Catherine love affair, which is said to continue a couple of months later. The couple however is reported to confront new challenges in season 3.
