‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Spoilers: Locations, Deaths, and New Enemies.

By

Despite the long hiatus of HBO's "Game of Thrones" (GoT) in preparation for its fifth season, crisp updates and information about the next season of Emmy's most nominated series endlessly flood the online platform.

Although it has not yet been confirmed by HBO, "Game of Thrones" is said to hit the airwaves once more in April 2015.

Reports said that the cast and crew started filming early this month in Seville, Spain, which will be the stand-in for Dorne, Martell family's home. The production team also verified the news that the Alcazar of Seville was eyed to be the set for the Water Gardens of Dorne. Joining the wide array of rumored locations in Spain are The University, The Plaza de Toros, La Colegiata, and The Canteras de Osuna.

In addition to Spain, Croatia is also said to be a major location for GoT's Season 5.

Amidst the incessant killings in "Game of Thrones," speculations arise about the impending death of Bran Stark in Season 5. Since the meeting of Bran and the Three-eyed Raven in Season 4, there were questions if the young Stark will finally meet his demise this coming season.

In the book, his meeting with the mythical creature enabled him to see into the past, present, and future, and also gave him the ability to communicate with the trees. Hence, giving the show the opportunity to flesh out other characters' stories. But, no one can predict whether Bran will indeed meet his end or not in Season 5, as the show is notorious for steering away from the book and serving viewers with flabbergasting deaths.

Meanwhile, Daenerys Targaryen is alleged to confront a new adversary in the city of Mereen. Calling themselves "Sons of the Harpy," these enemies will attempt to destabilize her regime over the city.

Despite there may be minimal exposure for the dragons this coming season, fans of these fire-breathing creatures still have something to look forward to in Season 5, as the Khaleesi is said to ride her biggest dragon-Drogo.

Season 5 will definitely be grander, story wise and production wise. GoT aficionados can absolutely expect another season of bloody sword fights and killing spree in 2015.
