MailOnline said in a report that the man who has accused "X-Men" director Bryan Singer of sexually abusing him while he was a minor has been working with another filmmaker for a documentary about the sordid underbelly of Hollywood. Michael Egan, who has made an appearance and answered questions about his lawsuit against Singer at a news conference on Thursday, is reportedly working with Disarming Films had Amy Berg. Berg was nominated for an Oscar for "Deliver US From Evil" a documentary about sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.

When MailOnline contacted Berg about her business relationship with Egan, she confirmed and said that she has been working on the project in the last two years. Moreover, she reportedly was surprised about Egan coming out in public about the claims this week. She declined to comment further about the project.

A MailOnline source, who is reportedly close to Egan, purportedly confirmed Berg's project. The source, who refused to be named, said, ‘Just this week, I got a message from Disarming Films, a documentary film company working out of Los Angeles. They said they are making a documentary about a bunch of children molested by somebody in the film industry. I never contacted them back. They wanted videos and pictures of Michael and a few others he knew. The film company said they were working on numerous children, now adults, now coming forward about this.

At the press conference on Thursday, Egan opened up how he as a minor that time along with other underaged boys were treated like a piece of meat by Singer and others at parties.

"Certain situations like at the house where the rules were no swimsuits by the pool areas. I was in the hot tub with Singer and other individuals, they grope you, shove your head under water, orally molest you, then they'd rape you by the side of hot tub. You were a piece of meat. We were told that we had to keep the members happy - 'We control Hollywood and we will eliminate you' - there was threat after threat," Egan told reporters at the conference.

Egan's lawyer, Jeff Herman, claimed that there is still paedophile rings in Hollywood that supposedly overlapped each other. He also vowed to give other victims a voice, indicating more lawsuits to be filed in the future.
