An online campaign that has been organized to help find a Virginia mother who vanished back in July has shattered its initial goal by raising over a staggering ten times the original amount as her husband currently sits in police custody, having previously been a person of interest in her disappearance.

The GoFundMe was launched by Nadia Navarro in the hopes of raising money to fund the "search efforts for [her] missing friend, Mamta Bhatt" and while the initial goal was simply $1,000, the GoFundMe currently stands at over $11,000.

Mamta, a pediatric nurse and mother of one, was reported missing by her husband, Naresh Bhatt, on August 5, and reportedly said he had not seen his wife since July 31.

Naresh Bhatt was led out of his home in handcuffs Thursday following the execution of a search warrant at the couple's home on Wednesday, three weeks into the woman's disappearance, according to WJLA.

He was arrested and put in custody but it isn't currently known if he has been charged with anything.
