Authorities arrested an Ohio mom and two others accused of handcuffing her 6-year-old son while allowing a "vicious" pitbull to attack the helpless boy, said police.

Angelina Williams, her boyfriend, Taylor Desiree Marvin Brown, and dog owner Robert Michalski, allegedly restrained the victim by cuffing his hands and feet while the pitbull tore into the child at Michalski's home in Ashland County, Ohio, inflicting serious neck and ear injuries, according to the sheriff's office.

Officers responding to the incident Saturday noticed the severity of the victim's wounds and ordered a Life Flight. Michalski and the dog were gone when officers arrived.

On Monday, detectives who learned the boy was allegedly cuffed during the attack, issued a search warrant on the home, and recovered supporting evidence.

During the search, Michalski was found hiding with the dog in a "cubby hole" upstairs, the sheriff's office said.

Authorities seized the pitbull to be housed as a "vicious dog," and the trio of suspects were arrested.

Williams and Brown face identical charges of endangering children and obstruction of justice, while Michalski is accused of endangering children and tampering with evidence, according to jail records.

The suspects remain held on bonds ranging from $150,000 to $300,000.
