‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Concept Art Released with Digital HD of ‘Doctor Strange’: First Glimpse on Hela, Planet Hulk

By

The concept art for "Thor: Ragnarok" is released together with "Doctor Strange" digital HD distribution. The photos tease the first look on Hela which will be played by Cate Blanchett, and the reprising of Mark Rufallo's "Hulk" but with bigger smash.

The concept art is the first to feature Hela, the cosmic being that will be the main antagonist for the third movie of Thor. In the storyline, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will be fighting alongside Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for their fight in New York City. On the ending credits of the movie "Doctor Strange," Thor made a deal with Sorcerer Supreme to help find Odin and an ensuing battle will surely take place.

Another interesting feature in the concept art is the inclusion of Mark Rufallo's Hulk. Though the smashing giant won't be having his solo movie anytime soon, he is expected to be appearing on "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Avengers: Infinity War," Hollywood Reporter mentioned. Hulk will not be the usual "Hulk" but will actually debut as "Planet Hulk." In the comics, Planet Hulk appeared to fight against Silver Surfer, a character which is still licensed under Fox as part of "Fantastic Four 2" deal. But a bit of twist in the storyline can make it possible for Planet Hulk to fight against other cosmic beings.

Whether Planet Hulk will mainly be an enemy or an ally is yet to be revealed. But the art shows a dreaded fight between Thor and Planet Hulk. "Thor: Ragnarok" is one of the three Marvel movies set to be released this year alongside "Spiderman: Homecoming" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," Movieweb reports.

The three movies from Marvel this year will set the stage for the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" where a cosmic war will happen because of the Infinity Stones. Among the six infinity stones in existence, three was already revealed - in Vision's forehead, Doctor Strange's necklace, and the one with Star Lord.
