'Avengers: Infinity War' First Look Reveals Thor's New Weapon; Story Glorified By RDJ

The "Avengers: Infinity War" first look reveals a lot of film surprises including Thor's intriguing weapon and the movie's epic plot. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is making sure that "Infinity War" meets the fan's expectations.

Based on what's been revealed so far, the movie is starting to look very ambitious. The "Avengers: Infinity War" first look teasers alone show how massive the confirmed cast is.

According to Independent, even "Sicario" actor Benicio Del Toro will be joining the already stacked cast of A-list Hollywood stars of "Avengers: Infinity War." Of course, with a cast so massive, teasers are bound to be revealed.

In this case, the topic of discussion now is Thor's new weapon, which isn't his usual Mjolnir hammer. According to ComicBook, a new "Avengers: Infinity War" first look teaser art showed Thor wielding a different-yet-familiar looking weapon.

The source speculates that this could be Thor's weapon Jarnbjorn, which translates to "Iron Bear." Thor used this weapon long before he got a hold of his signature Mjolnir hammer.

Thor director Taika Waititi even teased an Instagram photo featuring Chris Hemsworth surrounded by the Mjolnir on his left, and what appears to be the Jarnbjorn on his right side. This leads fans to speculate is Thor might lose the ability to wield Mjolnir at one point, forcing him to use the Jarnbjorn once again.

Meanwhile, "Iron Man" star Robert Downey Jr. adds even more fuel to the "Avengers: Infinity War" hype train. According to Geek, Downey Jr. further complimented the upcoming "Avengers" film saying that it's "The second greatest story ever told."

With an all-star cast as hyped-up and massive as what's teased during the "Avengers: Infinity War" first look trailer, we sure hope so. Fans will have to see for themselves if the film lives up to its hype once Marvel's biggest super-hero team assembles on May 4, 2018.
