Garbage and Blondie are to team up in a summer tour this year. The Rage and Rapture Tour is to kick off on July 5.

According to a report in Auti music, Garbage and Blondie are to give fans their performance in The Rage and Rapture Tour. This event is to begin on July 5 at the The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA. It is going to conclude in Southside Ballroom Dallas, TX.

There are also several venues that the Garbage and Blondie concert are to stop. Fans of both music icons can see their performances in the following venues and dates. It is a tour that has a unique combination of artists.

Billboard reports that Exene Cervenka of punk rock band X is to take part in first half of the concert. Deep Vally is to join in the later parts of the tour of Garbage and Blondie. A new album is coming up for Blondie titled Pollinator will be available in May. Strange Little Birds is a latest album of Garbage that has been released last year and went up to number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Blondie's Pollinator album includes collaboration with Sia, Joan Jett, Laurie Anderson, Charlie XCX and Johnny Marr. Dev Hynes of Blood Orange is also collaborating with Blondie in the album. Additional collaborators are Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio and Nick Valensi of The Strokes.

The perfect entry point of Garbage in The Rage and Rapture Tour is their latest album Strange Little Birds. The album is already available and is full of the band's trademark music according to a report in the Nerdist.

As of this time, the band Blondie is on tour with Cyndi Lauper in Australia and New Zealand. Tickets of The Rage and Rapture Tour of Garbage and Blondie are available and open to the public on Feb. 17 for pre-sale via Ticketmaster.
