Legendary singer Tony Bennett is confirmed to appear in video recording during halftime show of the Super Bowl 51. He will come as a part of promotional activity for PepsiCo.
The 90-year-old singer is confirmed to appear in the lead-in, according to PepsiCo per Yahoo Finance. PepsiCo is the long time partner of NFL and the company will launch a full scale promotion to highlight its zero-calorie product, Pepsi Zero Sugar.
Tony Bennett will appear in the Halftime Show lead-in produced by Creators League Studio before Lady Gag performance which become the main event of the Halftime Show.
This year’s 51st Super Bowl will be between New England Patriots against Atlanta Falcons. The Patriots defeated Pittsburgh Steleer in the AFC Final. While the NFC Champion, Atlanta Falcons defeated Green Bay Packers 44-21 to become the NFC champion. The betting odds show the Pats are slightly ahead of the Falcons by three points.
Super Bowl is a sport events which enticed millions of people in America and around the world. According to Forbes, the event attracts 150 million people in average who watch the live broadcast.
In Super Bowl 51 this year, advertisers are willing to spend at least $5 million for a 30-second spot during the event. They hope their brands will receive sufficient recognition from the viewers which will deliver a significant return from such a huge spending.
