GTA 6 to be Set in Bogota? No Female Protagonist, Rockstar Games Says

By

Rockstar Games' GTA 6 is now an official certainty and with it, fans are feeling the continuous tendencies that the sixth title will have. Given that the game is yet to reveal more about itself, whatever information befalls the gamers as of late is considered treasurable or precious; even the most rampant speculations.

According to Movie Pilot, Rockstar Games' now confirmed GTA 6 already sets the fans up for more hype on the coming months. Since no official statement was given regarding the games' full story and plot, many of the games followers cannot help but come up with theories and guesses about the title, starting with the "throwback" theme it was rumored on.

As per Neuro Gadget, GTA 6 may feel cozy with the supposed setting for it, namely Las Vegas or Bogota. So far, the rumor has not yet been formally debunked by Rockstar Games, leading the fans to think that it can be accurate for the most part. In the past, fans came to the theory that GTA 6 will be held at Japan, but the developers were rather swift to disregard the claim and cordially scrapping the idea completely for further reference.

Yibada noted that until now, the claims of a female protagonist still surround the web, and though Rockstar Games did not deny that it is indeed one of their plans to do so, it may be too far of a shot to call if that will be choice made for GTA 6. So far, fans are still keeping their fingers crossed on the potential female lead that was promised; though certainly not for GTA 6.

No release window was given to GTA 6, but for the time being, it may not be as near yet as wanted due to the focus exerted on the existing Grand Theft Auto Online that is still basking on downloadable content updates. Stay tuned for more GTA 6 news.
