The alleged Gran Turismo 7 has been quite a common calling to the fans of the series as of late. However, continuous postponements and even possible scrapping of the seventh title is being debated upon; though the idea of the game keeps the fans' interest in check.
According to Day Herald, the supposed Gran Turismo 7 was said to have been first heard of last 2013, but was no longer seen or heard of anymore after. The intrigue has continued to surround the field of racing games, but in a harsh truth, the seventh title has seemingly been set aside for the fellow title, Gran Turismo Sport.
As per Master Herald, the anticipation of Gran Turismo 7 has further gone up as Polyphony Digital announced the creation of Gran Turismo Sport. Though the title may be called under the same brand, the developers guarantee that both games are different from each other but both still contain the touches of the original game franchise itself.
Day Herald noted that the idea of Gran Turismo 7 may no longer be as tolerated and is already being overshadowed by the Gran Turismo Sport game. One similar rumored trait for the said games is the inclusion of the VR Support, in which today's generation adapts rather swiftly. Moreover, first person titles that are either shooters or sports games somewhat already consider the feature to be a pre-requisite in order to adapt to the growing standards of games.
No release or announcement of Gran Tusimo 7 was provided by Polyphony Digital and Sony for the time being. Only hints and rumors have been talked about, and given that the community of racing games are catching up to the norm, like Project CARS and even the appealing Rocket League, Gran Turismo may need to step up to continue a killing in sales as the predecessors did. Keep posted for more updates on the long-running race marvel.
