Sega and Creative Assembly's Total War: Warhammer released new information regarding its downloadable content updates and there are lots to take note of. Recent videos surround the web and as gamers are cordially awaiting more before the release date, the teams behind the title reveal more and more to tease the followers.
According to PC Games N, Creative Assembly's Total War: Warhammer has once more released official footage of its maps within the "Welcome to the Old World" trailer. New footages also highlighted what looks like a battle against what can be defined as zombies, entitled "Fear the Risen Dead".
It was noted by VG247 that certain packs are announced by Creative Assembly and Sega wherein each one has their own special traits and specifications. The Lord Packs, to start off, is themed on a certain clash of the Warhammer lore, and comprises of two playable legendary lords that includes their own quest chains, campaign bonuses and items. Moreover, there will be two new lords to serve generals, a new unique unit and a new elite unit of renown that are upgraded versions of the existing units.
Race Packs will add a new race to the game or add full unit rosters, heroes, lords and playable legendary lords to non-playable existing races in the main game, as stated by IGN. The pack will be composed of a new playable race with units, heroes, items, buildings, as well as technology and skill trees.
Finally, the Campaign Packs will have both a brand new race and a new Challenge Campaign to the system. The said pack will be themed on events from Warhammer lore and the said packs can be described as an upgraded version of the previously mentioned Race Pack.
For the interested fans, Total War: Warhammer is slated for release on May, after announcing a slight delay. Creative Assembly and Sega are opening their arms to the fans who are yet to try out the new game and those that are to return to the series if ever they have been idle.
