Katie Holmes has confirmed that she will not be a part of "Ray Donovan" Season 4 anymore. The 37-year-old American actress and model will no longer reprise her role as Paige Finney. Paige happens to be a sports agent and the attractive daughter of Andrew (Ian McShane), a ruthless billionaire. She is described as a conniving woman who surprisingly falls hard for Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber).
Holmes stated that she left the show since she's currently working on a Canadian-American TV miniseries entitled "The Kennedys after Camelot", and it is impossible for her to manage two shows, Ecumenical News has reported.
Aside from that, "Game of Thrones" actor Richard Brake has landed a recurring role for the upcoming 4th installment. The 51-year-old Welsh American actor will portray the role of Vlad. Vlad is described as a menacing and intimidating man who happens to work for some imminent people. Brake's character is like Donovan who has a fondness for beating up and forcing people to follow with everything he wants them to do, as reported by MNR Daily.
In addition, "The Cosby Show" star Lisa Bonet officially joins the cast of the Showtime series. According to Breathe Cast, the 48-year-old American actress will portray the role of Marisol. Marisol is a deranged woman with a damaging secret that is yet to be revealed as the show returns.
The show's home network officially ordered 12 episodes for "Ray Donovan" Season 4. The forthcoming season is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. first and exclusive on Showtime.
