‘Prison Break’ Season 5: 9 episodic revival official air date expected in September; Michael Scofield to suffer from amnesia?

Rumor has it that Wentworth Miller's character Michael Scofield will suffer from amnesia in 'Prison Break" Season 5. Aside from that, a lot of new characters will be introduced as the show returns around September 2016.

Lead actor Wentworth Miller, who plays the character of Michael Scofield will suffer from amnesia as "Prison Break" Season 5 returns in the small screen. According to Vine Report, Michael's amnesia may serve as the way to explain his long disappearance in the show.

Such rumors stemmed from the story's angle on why his wife Doctor Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), his son Michael Scofield Jr., and his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) didn't search for him in the season 4 finale episode.The speculation is also linked to the casting call for an actor who will play as MIchael Scofield Jr. in the reboot. The character is described to have a perceptive that is older for his age.

Other than that, cast member Amaury Nolasco officially signs in to return to "Prison Break" Season 5. Amaury will reprise his role as Fernando Sucre in the upcoming reboot. Fernando happens to be the prison cellmate of the series protagonist Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). Amaury's character was first introduced during the pilot episode of the show, Business Standard has cited.

In addition, "The Borgias" actor Augustus Prew and "Marco Polo" actor Rick Yune has landed in major roles for the "Prison Break" reboot. Prew will be playing the role of Whip while Yune will play the role of Ja.

Whip is described as a funny, crazy, and a guy with a sharp personality while Ja happens to be a genius Korean identity thief whose messy appearance contradicts his intelligent personality, TV Line has reported.

The production for "Prison Break" Season 5 which is set in Vancouver will begin next month. The nine episodic revival of the show is expected to premiere around September of this year first and exclusive on FOX Network.
