It was love that grew between two unlikely people as Sam Claflin and Emilia Clark are set to star as William Traynor and Louisa Clark in the upcoming big screen iteration of Me Before You. Clark recently revealed her thoughts about her character Louisa and shared her reaction to friends upon watching the movie.

Clark is currently one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood and one of her acknowledged performances is her portrayal of the badass Princes of the House of Targaryen, Daenerys. But for the upcoming flick, she is shifting to a more upbeat persona as Louisa Clark. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, the Game of Thrones actress recently shared how Daenerys differs from Louisa.

"I was obsessed with My Fair Lady growing up," Clarke said. "As an actor, you want to be able to show a character's growth. It's fulfilling. And I'm very close to Lou as a person. At school I was uncertain and unsure. So there was a sincerity that I was so desperate to play, because with Daenerys I've spent a career putting armor on." she detailed.

Clarke also added that Me Before You is her first "sad movie", thus, she was delighted when her friends shed tears when they watched the film. "I've had friends that have seen the movie, are in tears, crying, and I'm like, 'Yay, good, I'm glad, I'm so happy that I've made you break down in tears.' That's a good sign. We are affecting people!" Clarke stated.

According to People's Choice, Me Before You is a romantic tragedy that centers on Lou (Clarke) who works as a care giver to a bitter man named Will (Claflin). Lou and Will's relationship starts with hatred, which eventually grows to become love but also face struggles as Will receives a dismal diagnosis.

In filming the movie, director Thea Sharrock noted of the physical struggle for Claflin who played the role of a man who cannot move on the neck down and only had his facial movements and expressions, stating that it was a challenge for the Hunger Games actor.

However, as reported by USA Today, Sharrock revealed that a good bond was formed between Claflin and Clarke while filming as they would occasionally take the banters and pranks off screen. She also noted about the test that befell on the actors' friendship when filming of the scene where Clarke had to shave Claflin's beard, which thankfully ended no blood shed and trust built.

Me Before You is the upcoming movie version of Jojo Moyes. She also wrote the screenplay for the film that is directed by Thea Sharrock. It also stars Matthew Lewis, Jenna Coleman, and Janet McTeer among many others. It is set to hit theaters on June 03, 2016.
