As Homefront: The Revolution has certainly teased fans of the supposed gameplay that the title will provide, some cannot help but question if the system of the game will indeed be fair to begin with for both the villain and the protagonist. As per Telegraph, the main logic of Homefront: The Revolution is to reclaim the pillaged United States, care of the Korean People's Army, also known as the KPA within the game. The plot of the title defends that the KPA holds the upper hand of having advanced technology since the early 1970s and the game being set on 2027, the North Korean background was given a full overhaul compared to the apparent reality.
In other words, the North Korean army has extracted the said technology, obtaining a weaponry advantage against the United States. As for Homefront: The Revolution, it makes the protagonists inferior when it comes to the firearm aspect, in which some players feel to be both challenging and unnecessary. The said opinions are all in theory for the time being and can be determined in the near future once it releases fully.
