Dishonored 2 Still Expected to Appear at E3 2016; Confirmed Story Details Revealed

By

Dishonored 2 is the upcoming promise of Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda to continue the momentum that the game established from the first game not long back. As the months come by, the title looks to let people know on what else the game will be providing, and the possibility of it spilling information to the masses.

Game Focus noted that the entirety of 2016 could prove a potentially great year for many of today's games. Being alongside the likes of Grand Theft Auto Online, For Honor and a handful more others, Dishonored 2 is one of the titles expected to make a financial killing, but for the time being, the full story of the game and when it will appear next is still the question.

According to Alphr, the latest pieces of news that Bethesda and Arkane Studios released speak of the potential that the game will be announced at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, happening on June 12th. This is yet to be confirmed by the involved parties, but the tendency of the game to appear is disregarded yet.

Previous reports claim that Dishonored 2 will be a more diverse story compared to the original in which the game only surrounds Corvo Attano. Definitively, the second title takes place a number of years after the events of the first game, now including the playable female character Emily Kaldwin, who in the first game was still a young woman. For the second title, she will be given her own set of skills, distant from that of Corvo Attano.

Dishonored 2's Emily Kaldwin has a transportation skill via the appointed grappling hook type weapon, as well as a shape-shifting ability that morphs her into a smoke-like entity. So far, the aforementioned information of the game has been supported by Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda, and until firther notice, fans can still hold on to the supposed 2016 release date that the title was given.
