'Criminal Minds': Cancellation looms due to Shemar Moore's confirmed exit? Season 11 penultimate episode airs April 13

Rumor has it that "Criminal Minds" will no longer continue for season 12 due to Shemar Moore's official exit. Aside from that, "Resurrection" alum Frances Fisher will appear in the penultimate episode as a psychotic UnSub. CBS also released the official plot description of the upcoming episode 20 of Season 11 entitled 'Inner Beauty'.

Speculations are making the rounds online that 'Criminal Minds" Season 11 will not be picked up for a season 12 renewal. Such rumors stemmed due to the confirmed exit of main cast member Shemar Moore, Inquisitr has reported.

Other than that, "Resurrection" alum Frances Fisher officially signs in to guest star in the upcoming episode of "Criminal Minds" Season 11. According to TV Line, the 63-year-old British-American actress will portray the role of Antonia Slade. Antonia happens to be a psychotic UnSub (unknown subject) who was taken away by Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) 15 years ago.

Antonia was involved in a case together with her husband where they managed a runaway hotline for teens, only to torture those who didn't comply with the rules. Fisher's character will debut during the penultimate episode.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 20, Spoilers Guide notes, "The BAU (behavioral analysis unit) searches for an UnSub who is purposely disfiguring victims. Also, David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) has an awkward reunion with his ex-wife, Hayden Montgomery (Sheryl Lee Ralph), who kept his daughter, Joy Struthers (Amber Stevens), a secret from him for nearly 30 years."

"Criminal MInds" Season 11 Episode 20 is entitled as "Inner Beauty". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. first and exclusive on CBS.

"Criminal Minds" is an American police procedural crime drama TV series created by Jeff Davis.The show is set primarily at the FBI's BAU based in Quantico, Virginia. The focal point of the series follows a talented group of FBI profilers.
