'Baywatch' is an upcoming comedy film directed by Seth Gordon. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared the first official photograph of the new film's cast on-location, with the latest female leads taking the spotlight.
According to Refinery 29, Johnson recently shared the first look of the official new cast members for the upcoming full-feature film adaptation of the popular television series from the 1980s. The 43-year old Hollywood heavy hitter took to Instagram to share a brand new photograph featuring himself and co-stars Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera and Jon Bass lined up on the beach in their iconic red and blue swimwear.

Johnson will take on the role of Mitch Buchanon, a character made famous by David Hasselhoff during the series' run on television from the 1980s to the late 1990s. According to the Daily Mail, Rohrbach will bring Pamela Anderson's C.J. Parker back to life on the big screen while Daddario will portray the new Summer Quinn, following after the footsteps of Nicole Egert. Meanwhile, Hadera will take on the role of Stephanie Holden, a character played by Alexandra Paul in the original series.
According to Metro, photographs of the new female leads have also taken the internet by storm recently. One image showed Hadera and Rohrback recreating the famous "Baywatch run" in their red one-piece swimsuits on-location in Savannah, Georgia. Principal photography began on February 2016 in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
