Executive producer and co-creator Alex Gansa has recently discussed the details about Carrie Mathison's fate in "Homeland" Season 6. Gansa and Showtime president Gary Levine revealed that Dana Brody's storyline will be featured in the upcoming installment. Also, the upcoming season 6 scenes would be shot in New York City, USA.
Executive producer and co-creator Alex Gansa revealed via Ecumenical News on what fans should expect from Carrie Mathison in "Homeland" Season 6. Gansa stated, "She came to the attention of Saul Berenson probably through a professor at some university who picked her out as somebody who was incredibly perceptive and acute about human behavior, somebody who could thrive in the duplicitous role of work overseas."
In addition, Gansa also teased that Nicolas Brody's (Damian Lewis) daughter Dana (Morgan Frances Saylor) could become a CIA officer. The executive producer admitted that he is still interested in featuring the Brody family arc. Gansa and Showtime president Gary Levine will come up with Dana's storyline in the upcoming installment, M Stars News has cited.
Other than that, most of the scenes for the 6th installment of the CIA drama will return in the US. According to Australia News Network, the upcoming scenes would be shot in New York City, USA. This is unlike the previous seasons where the characters chased terrorists in Berlin, Germany and began some missions in Pakistan. The series scribes are also busy conceptualizing the storylines for the show as of this moment.
"Homeland" Season 6 is slated to return around September 2016 first and exclusive on Showtime. However as of now, the series production and narrative is currently underway.
