'Homeland' Spoilers: Did Quinn really die from brain hemorrhage? Rupert Friend rumored to return in Season 6

EP Leslie Linka revealed what will happen to Carrie and Quinn in "Homeland" Season 6. Also rumor has surfaced that Quinn will still appear in the upcoming installment. Plus, "Homeland" Season 5 finale episode has been mentioned.

Executive producer Leslie Linka discussed with Variety about the fate of Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) and Peter Quinn's (Rupert Friend) characters in the upcoming season. When asked if Carrie will return to the CIA, Linka stated, "It'll be interesting to see where next season goes as far as that goes. Until we have that series of meetings, I don't know if Alex has any idea. But those meetings in Washington have such a big impact."

When asked if Quinn will survive his massive hemorrhage, Linka said "What incredible work has Rupert done this season! He's just extraordinary. I feel so lucky as a director to be working with this cast. It certainly has made me more fearless for sure."

On the other hand, rumor has it that Rupert Friend's character isn't really dead and his character will still appear in the upcoming installment of the Showtime series. Christian Today suggests that the final scenes of "Homeland" Season 5 showed Carrie sitting beside Peter Quinn's hospital bed

For a finale recap, Deadline has detailed that Carrie was assisted by Jihadist Qasim (Alireza Bayram) as she tried to stop the terrorists from releasing sarin gas. Unfortunately, Qasim was killed off in episode 12 while Quinn seemingly died due to brain hemorrhage. Surprisingly, Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) handing Quinn's letter to Carrie where he finally confessed his love for her, then a ray of light has entered the hospital room.

"Homeland" Season 5 Episode 12 is enttiled as "A False Glimmer". The finale episode aired last Sunday, December 20, 2015. As of now, Showtime has not yet released the official scheduled launch of "Homeland" Season 6.

"Homeland" is an American political thriller TV series developed by Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon. The storyline is based on Gideon Raff's Israeli series Hatufim.
