The Odd Gentlemen finally announced more details on King's Quest Chapter 3: Once Upon A Climb as it reached the fans' attention recently. The release date was confirmed, alongside some vital in-game story details that will prove most valuable to those that followed the last two chapters of the series.

According to iDigital Times, King's Quest Chapter 3: Once Upon A Climb has been declared by the developer to be the funniest entry of the series so far, as the two predecessors also had their share of amusement. It was said that the third installment is based on King's Quest 2: Romancing The Throne, having King Graham save the princess kept in a tower to be his beloved queen.

Definitively, as per Twinfinite, the Creative Director of King's Quest Chapter 3: Once Upon A Climb, Matt Korba, shared the former character of King Graham is no more. The new model for Graham is slightly older, a little more muscular than before, contrary to the weaker, push-over look established during the second chapter. That is not all which has been noted, as there is a particular reference for the said decision.

It was delivered by XBLA Fans that one of the scenes for King's Quest 3: Once Upon A Climb is a derivation or inspiration from the film Citizen Kane. The introduction of the game presents Graham headed to the tower, but no matter how distant from the path the players go, it seemingly does not change in size.

Korba stated that King's Quest Chapter 3: Once Upon A Climb will be more inclined towards a romantic comedy in comparison to the other two. Despite the plot difference, it will still acquire some resemblance from the second game, especially in terms of gameplay where in the players must make wise and crucial decisions to move forward. King's Quest Chapter 3: Once Upon a Climb will make its way to the consoles come April 26th, 2016.
