Prayers of faster recovery continue to pour in for the renowned F1 racer Michael Schumacher years, two years after a horrific skiing incident that almost took his life two years ago. German Football player Miroslav Klose recently dedicated his award to Schumacher while Sabine Kehm revealed why she continues to protect the racer's privacy after the incident.

Miroslav Klose has received the University of Rome Tor Vergata's Sports Ethics Award which he dedicated to the retired Formula One racer, urging him to continue to fight for his health.

"I had the pleasure of personally meeting him when he once visited us in training camp with the national team," Klose said as reported by The Bitbag. "He is an extraordinary person. It was enough, five minutes to talk to him, to open and to understand so many things in the eyes.Forza Michael, do not give up," he added.

Meanwhile, Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm shared recently her conversation with the racer wherein he expressed his wish to disappear from the public view. As reported by Mirror, Kehm cited how much of a private person Schumacher is. "In general the media have never reported on Michael and Corinna's private lives. When he was in Switzerland, for example, it was clear he was a private individual", Kehm said.

"Once in a long discussion Michael said to me: 'You don't need to call me for the next year, I'm disappearing. I think it was his secret dream to be able to do that some day. That's why now I still want to protect his wishes in that I don't let anything get out", Kehm continued.

Official update regarding Schumacher's condition has been extremely scarce since he was transferred to his near the shores of Lake Geneva, which somehow paved the way for the rumors to fill in the curiosity of the fans. As reported by Sportsrageous, Mercedes team chairperson Niki Lauda has supported the family on their decision to keep the racer's condition private, but added he understood the fact that not everybody was supportive of such decision.

Lauda stated that the lack of new update regarding Schumacher's health condition has caused unrest among the racer's fans. He added that a middleground must be established between the family and the supporters in order to keep the misleading reports from being spread.

Lauda said that he has thought of checking on Schumacher's condition but has no way to reach the racer. Most recent update regarding the retired F1 racer's condition came from former Ferrari boss Luca Cordero di Montezemolo who described his health as "not good".
