According to CNET, the Farmingdale State College located in Long Island, New York reportedly lockdown on Wednesday morning after reports of someone has seen a man, inside a car assembling a rifle. It was reported through 911, who notified the police about the said dangerous weapon.

The students and staffs were instructed to take shelter. However, Farmingdale college spokeswoman stated, Kathryn Coley, as Suffolk County Police arrived at the scene and approached the man, they confirmed that the alleged rifle was a "Star Wars" lightsaber toy, Time reported.

The college posted on Twitter that the situation has been cleared and lifted the lockdown warning. "The police situation on campus has been resolved without incident. All students, faculty, and staff should resume normal activities," Twitter post stated. The said college has a 8,700 students and under the State University of New York system, US News reported.
