‘Fuller House’ Update: 1st season didn’t live up to expectations? What will Season 2 bring to the table?

By

After fans got very excited when they found out that 'Full House' will have a reboot on Netflix, many were a little bit disappointed about some things in 'Fuller House' after it was released. Nevertheless, the show has been renewed and may give what viewers need to make them stay. 'Fuller House' has a chance to regain itself in 2nd season.

Netflix delighted fans of the beloved tv show 'Full House' when it announced that they were making a reboot. And last month, 'Fuller House' premiered with 13-episode season. The show brought back the original cast members of the show, except Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. According to Butler County Times- Gazette, the pilot episode did capture viewers' attention as it capitalized on the nostalgia factor.

But the show met a lot of criticisms after the airing of pilot episode. According to some reviews in the internet, the show tried to inject awkward sexual references and the new generation of adults and the excessive use of smartphones.

But the show creator Jeff Franklin defended the show saying that they wanted viewers see what 'Full House' was and not a new version of it, since the characters would not fit into it. Many critics also praised the show for reminding about the past.

In a report by Fox News, 'Fuller House' did not amass what Disney Channel's same theme series 'Girl Meets World' earned. According to the report, 'GMW' has an 82 percent success rating while the former has 32 percent only on Rotten Tomatoes.

But despite what critics say, 'Fuller House' luckily gets a new season. 'Fuller House' season 2 will focus on DJ, a widowed single mother of three sons who needs to move back home and gets some help from her dad and the crew.

What can you say about 1st season? Are you excited to see 'Fuller House' season 2?
