After the near death experience he had in 'Criminal Minds' season 11 episode 16, Derek Morgan seems not afraid to search and capture the one who abducted him. In episode 17, while the BAU track downs 'The Sadman', Morgan is still up to find his on the loose abductor. As he continues his mission, his dark past will resurface.

In 'Criminal Minds' season 11 episode 16, Derek Morgan abducted by an unknown man where he almost got killed. But just in time, Morgan was able to escape. While the abductor remains on the loose, according to Parent Herald, Derek is still looking for the criminal in episode 17.

As per Breathecast, while Morgan is searching for clues that lead him to his abductor, his dark past will resurface. The publication mentions that his pain from his tormentor will continue in episode 17.

But the highlight of episode 17 is the search for an unsub who abducts children in Wichita. According to the 'Criminal Minds' season 11 episode 17 synopsis/spoilers, the BAU is heading to Wichita to track down an unsub named 'The Sandman' who abducts children while their parents are asleep.

Episode 17's title is based on the mythological creature from European folklore. It is known that the Sandman grants kids' dreams or their nightmares in some case.

On the other news, viewers will see a familiar face back in 'Criminal Minds'. According to Master Herald, Paget Brewster's Emily Prentiss will appear in episode 19. Prentiss will enlist the help of her BAU friends to track down an international serial killer who has a next target in America.

Prentiss was last seen in season 7. Many viewers fell in love with Brewster's character. That is why many were disappointed when she left the show, and now many are excited for her comeback. But it is known that Brewster will only guest appear.
