Betrayal is in the air in 'Vikings' season 4. After he was tortured by King Ragnar for killing Athelstan, Floki may have plan of seeking revenge in Episode 5. And now he may have a plan of seeking revenge. In the latest 'Vikings' season 4 episode 5 sneak peek, Floki makes friend with Harald and younger brother Halfdan.

Halfdan asks Floki why he was casted out by his best friend after making Ragnar famous for making boats. Floki replies that he killed Ragnar's pet Christian (Athelstan). Before the teaser ends, the shipbuilder quickly asks for a toast, saying "To new friendships!"

At the end of the sneak peek, Aslaug is seen nodding at Helga and Floki from nearby. Design & Trend speculates that the gesture means they are forming a team that will overthrow Ragnar from his position.

Aside from Floki, Ragnar's brother Rollo is also planning to destroy him. Rollo will return in 'Vikings' season 5 and earns trust of Princess Gisla. But for the second time, Rollo intends to deceive his brother.

With so much people trying to stab his back, Ragnar may have found his unlikely confidante. Aslaug introduces the slave named Yidu to Ragnar for no definite reason last episode. The spoilers tell that the slave and the king will get closer. According to Movie News Guide, Ragnar is smitten by Yidu's mysterious persona and exotic beauty.

The publication adds that Yidu makes the king softer. In fact, Ragnar tells his one of important secrets to her in Episode 5. But many speculate that she might betray him for Queen Aslaug. However, this is yet to be known.

As for the show creator Michael Hirst, Yidu and Ragnar's relationship is based on the real love story of Yoko Ono and John Lennon, and Ono's assistant May Pang. It was known that Hirst is an avid fan of the Beatles.

It is also yet to be known how far Ragnar and Yidu's relationship will go. But Hirst teases that it "has the most astonishing endgame." "When you look back on it, it'll make sense," he adds.
