"All My Children" alum Jessalyn Wanlim has landed a recurring role of Evie Cho in "Orphan Black" Season 4, and Canadian musician Peaches is set to guest-star in one episode as herself. Also, BBC America has released the official plot description of episode 1 which premieres on April 14, 2016.
"All My Children" alum Jessalyn Wanlim has been cast for a recurring role in "Orphan Black" Season 4. According to Design n Trend, the 33-year-old Canadian actress and model will portray the role of Evie Cho. Evie happens to be a bio-engineer and spokeswoman who advocates research for women's health. She is described as a powerful and seductive lady who encourages empowerment to women who are oppressed by sexism and people with physical ailments.
In addition, Peaches has officially booked an arc in the 4th installment. The 47-year-old Canadian musician will be portraying as herself in one episode of the long-running sci-fi show, Exclaim has cited.
As for the official synopsis of the episode 1, BBC America notes, "Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all, Beth Childs. Sarah will follow Beth's footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potential new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyne safe, Sarah's old habits begin to resurface.
As of now, "Orphan Black" Season 4 is currently filming in Toronto through March 2016. The upcoming season is scheduled to return on Thursday, April 14, 2016 exclusively on BBC America.
"Orphan Black" is a Canadian science fiction TV series created by screenwriter Graeme Manson and director John Fawcett. The series focuses on Sarah Manning, a woman who assumes the identity of one of her fellow clones , Elizabeth Childs, after witnessing Child's suicide.
