'Girls' Season 5 Cast, Plot: Hannah disagrees with Fran's teaching methods; 'Scandal' Star Kerry Washington to guest star?

Rumors have surfaced that "Scandal" star Kerry Washington has landed a guest role in an upcoming episode of "Girls" Season 5. Also, HBO has released the official plot description of episode 4 'Old Lovers' and last week's episode 3 'Japan' is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.

Rumor has it that Kerry Washington will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of "Girls" Season 5. According to Movie News Guide, series creator and lead actress Lena Dunham teased that the 39-year-old American has booked an arc in the dramedy series however, she refused to answer which actor she was referring to. The rumors stemmed when Dunham appeared in one episode of "Scandal" and the two became friends since then.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 4, Spoilers Guide notes, "Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham) and Fran Parker (Jake Lacey) disagree about their teaching ways; Marnie Michaels (Allison Williams) fumes over Desi Harperin's (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) decision to launch a major construction project in their studio apartment; Jessa Johansson (Jemima Kirke) pushes Hannah away over an awkward rice-pudding meetup; Elijah Krantz (Andrew Rannelis) gets closer to Dill Harcourt (Corey Stoll)."

"Girls" Season 5 Episode 4 is entitled as "Old Loves". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. exclusively on HBO.

"Girls" is an American comedy drama TV series created and starred by Lena Dunham. The storyline follows the lives of four young women residing in New York City, the show's premise and major aspects of the main character is based on Dunham's own life.
