"Murder in the First" alum Taye Diggs has landed a pivotal role in the 300th episode milestone of "NCIS" Season 13. According to Christian Today, the 45-year-old Broadway veteran will portray the role of Marine Gunnery Sergeant Aaron Davis. Davis happens to be a former special operations sniper who was injured during an ambush attack in Iraq. The tragic accident gave him an extreme post-traumatic stress and is currently undergoing a music therapy program in Walter Reed Medical Center. Diggs' character will debut in the 300th episode of the show.
In addition, "Just Shoot Me" actress Laura San Giacomo officially signs in to return to the show. The 53-year-old American actress will reprise her role as Doctor Grace Confalone. Doctor Confalone serves as Doctor Cyril Taft's (Jon Cryer) confidante and co-worker, 2 Paragraphs has cited.
As for the official plot synopsis of episode 18, TV notes, "The team re-examines an ambush on a group of Special Operations snipers six months ago in Iraq, after an American couple is attacked in the same area. When Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) discovers he needs the account of the lone survivor, he tries to connect with the wounded warrior who is being treated for PTSS at Walter Reed Medical Center."
