Top Illuminati Celebrities 2015-2016: Beyonce addresses accusations in new song ‘Formation’; Bruno Mars fuels conspiracy theories at Grammy Awards 2016

Award winning musician Beyonce has long been the target of numerous conspiracy theories linking her to the highly mysterious secret society, the Illuminati. In fact, she joins a long list of alleged members including Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears.

According to ET, the 34-year old released her new song 'Formation' along with its music video just one day before she was set to perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show at the Levi's Stadium in California with Coldplay and Bruno Mars.

The long-awaited track was released exclusively on Jay-Z's music streaming platform Tidal and was made available for a free download. It was met with positive reviews from critics.

The music video itself was fascinating; with Queen Bey taking her fans back to her Southern roots. It showcased her daughter Blue Ivy, her signature dance moves as well as her flamboyant sense of style. It also featured references to Hurricane Katrina and Louisiana's creole culture as well as serious commentary against police brutality.

However, a closer listen at the lyrics would reveal Beyonce addressing the Illuminati accusations against her. The first line states, "Y'all haters corny with that Illuminati mess!"

According to an article on Bustle, Beyonce has been keeping silent for years following rumors of her alleged involvement with the Illuminati. The fact that she mentions the secret society at all makes for an interesting discussion among fans and critics. Her husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy are also rumored members of the Illuminati.

The couple's overt use of the triangle hand gesture in their performances cemented their reputation as pawns of the brotherhood. Jay-Z explained in a previous interview, "It's a diamond. It stands for Roc-A-Fella Records, the company I own... so we would walk around the office going, "We're going Diamond!" and we were so happy, and we started doing it at our shows, and it just stuck."

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars fueled even more controversy at the Grammys when he yelled out Beyonce's name even before she announced the winner for Record of the Year. According to International Business Times, Mars' outburst led to speculation that he was in cahoots with the songstress. Contrasting speculations emerged that he may have been confident of his win with Mark Ronson or that he knew the results beforehand or that the Illuminati had something to do with the results.

Beyonce is only one of the numerous entertainment industry giants rumored as members of the Illuminati. Her fame, wealth and influence have been favorites for various conspiracy theories, none of which have been confirmed to be true as of the present.
