According to a previous report by Lawyer Herald, the Droid Turbo 2 will receive the most recent security patches along with Marshmallow. Another nifty Marshmallow feature is Google Now on Tap. With this functionality, the phone will be able to give results based on contextual information. Now on Tap can be accessed by simply pressing and holding down the home button of the phone.
Meanwhile, Android 6.0 Marshmallow will begin rolling out to the HTC One M8 next week, as per Android Headlines. Mo Versi, HTC Vice President, has confirmed the release in a Twitter post. The HTC One M8 under Verizon is expected to start getting the update on Monday.
However, there could be some delays in the update roll out to the HTC One M8.
