‘Just Cause 3’ Expansion Pass Gets First DLC March 8; Avalanche Studios Reveals New Enemy, Weapons, Drones, Wingsuits and Other Add-Ons

Fans who are hooked into Just Cause 3 have something delightful to look forward to next week as Square Enix is set to launch the game's first official expansion next week.

Following its release last December 1st, Just Cause 3 is now confirmed to receive its first DLC titled 'Sky Fortress' come March 8 for Expansion Pass holders and a week after for those who don't own one.

Other than the solid release date for Just Cause 3 DLC, Square Enix also revealed to fans what more items can be found in Sky Fortress expansion on top of the announced new jetpack when it hits on Xbox One, PS4, and PC this month.

According to Square Enix official press release, in the all new first DLC, fans will see new enemy faction known as eDEN Corporation that amassed an "army of deadly robotic drones" within the said Sky Fortress. Game protagonist Rico Rodriguez comes in for rescue with new weapon tools such as new wingsuit, personal defense drone, and the Bavarium Splitter assault rifle.

Also, the game developer rolled out a new update prior to the release of Sky Fortress Expansion for Just Cause 3 that will go live on PSN, Xbox Live and Steam on March 4 last week. The changes brought by the new update for Just Cause 3 was to purposely pave the way for the new DLC and tweak a number of performance issues that were noted to have bugged the title sine its release last December 2015.

Fans can watch and click the video below for more details on the upcoming downloadable content, Avalanche Studios released a trailer for Just Cause 3 Sky Fortress back in February.

Just Cause 3 Sky Fortress DLC will be first available togamers who purchased the Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pass on March 8 while full launch on PSN, Steam and Xbox Live is scheduled March 15.
