'Banshee' Season 4 Official Premiere on April 1st: LUcas Hood to be Killed by Proctor?

Rumors have surfaced that Lucas Hood will be killed by Proctor in "Banshee" Season 4. Also joining the cast are "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum Eliza Dushku and "The Big Wedding" alum Ana Ayora. Dushku will play the role of an FBI Agent while Ayora ill play as a Banshee deputy.

Rumor has it that main character Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, will be killed by the head of the crime gang Proctor. International Business Times reports that the forthcoming episodes will showcase Proctor tracking down his former group member Hood who was the main reason why he was sent to prison.

Other than that, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum Eliza Dushku officially joins the cast of "Banshee" Season 4. The 35-year-old American actress will portray the role of an FBI profiler agent, Veronica Dawson.

Dushku even revealed via Comic Book Resources on how she was cast on the said role stating, "I was about to head back to summer school in Boston and I got a call, I'm just a lucky woman who got a call from [co-creator] Jonathan Tropper and he said he had this awesome role in this awesome show and that was how it happened."

In addition, "The Big Wedding" alum Ana Ayora has been cast as well for the upcoming installment of "Banshee". Seat 42 F has cited that the 33-year-old American actress will portray the role of Nina Cruz who happens to be a Banshee deputy that is working as an inside plant for Proctor.

"Banshee" Season 4 was originally scheduled to premiere last Friday, January 29, 2016 has been postponed for next Friday, April 1, 2016 instead with a 10:00 p.m. timeslot exclusively on Cinemax.

"Banshee" is an American action TV series created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler. The series is set in the small town of Banshee in Pennsylvania Amish country.
