Rumors have surfaced that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will be axed due to Ian Somerhalder's exit while EP Julie Plec talks about the possibility that Nina Dobrev will appear in the final episode of this season. Also, The CW has released the official plot description for episode 15 'I Would for You'.
Rumor has it that The CW will cancel "The Vampire Diaries" after its 7th installment. Morning Ledger reports that the show is highly likely to be cancelled since lead actor Ian Somerhalder, who plays the character of Damon Salvatore, will exit the show to start a family with wife Nikki Reed.
Meanwhile, executive producer Julie Plec teased via Entertainment Weekly the possibility that Nina Dobrev, who portrays the role of Elena Gilbert, will appear in the finale episode of season 7. Plec stated that Damon is willing to wait no matter how long it will take for Elena to wake up from the curse that whch put her to a deep sleep.
As for the official plot of episode 15, Spoilers Guide notes, "Stefan and Valerie search for a magical herb that can keep him hidden from Rayna, Damon comes up with a plan to take her down for good; At The Armory, Bonnie discovered something about Rayna that brings Damon's plan to a halt; Caroline's conversation with Stefan leaves him questioning their future; Matt decides to take a stand against the vampires of Mystic Falls; Damon races to complete unfinished business with Stefan and Bonnie."
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 Episode 15 is entitled as "I Would for You". The upcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on The CW.
