'Blue Bloods' Season 6: Jamie and Danny will have a heated argument in 'Friends in Need'

"Doctor Who" actress Alex KIngston will be making a cameo appearance in "Blue Bloods" Season 6 as Sloane Thompson. The upcoming episode has been postponed since the show decided to take another short hiatus for a couple of weeks. Also, the network has released the official plot description for episode 17 'Friends in Need'.

"Doctor Who" alum Alex Kingston officially signs in as a guest star in the upcoming episode of "Blue Bloods" Season 6 and according to Movie News Guide, the 52-year-old English actress will be playing the role of Sloane Thompson. Unfortunately, no further details and description have been released about the guest character. Kingston's character will debut in the 17th episode of the CBS series.

Other than that, "Blue Bloods" Season 6 will be having another brief hiatus for a number of weeks. Hollywood Hills has cited that the new episode which was slated to air last Friday, February 26, has been postponed for next Friday airing instead. Despite the delay, CBS finally revealed the press release for the upcoming episode.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 17, The Futon Critic notes, "Officer Jamie (Will Estes) and Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) disagree about how to handle a reckless NYPD rookie, Marcus Beal (guest star Michael Drayer), who is the son of Danny's friend. Also, when Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan's (Bridget Moynahan) investigator, Anthony Abetemarco (guest star Steven R. Schirripa), gets roped into a bad investment by his cousin, she offers to look into it."

"Blue Bloods" Season 6 Episode 17 is entitled as "Friends in Need". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. on CBS in the US and Sky Atlantic in Canada.

"Blue Bloods" is an American police procedural drama series created by Robin Green and MItchell Burgess. The series evolves around the lives of the Reagan family of police offers.
