Rapper Fetty Wap seems to be changing his mind about his relationship with Masika Kalysha. Reports are coming in that the soon-to-be father has dropped some money on baby items for his baby mama and child.
When Kalysha revealed on her Instagram that she was pregnant last year, many were quick to ask her about the father's identity. Later on, Kalysha revealed that it was actually rapper Fetty Wap who got her pregnant.
In response to this, Fetty Wap called out the TV star on social media and let the public know that he was not the father of her child. This led the two to a heated exchange of words online in December, as they both tried to defend themselves from each other.
But as reported on TMZ, the rapper seems to have had a change of heart for his baby mama and unborn child. According to the publication, the rapper has recently spent a total of $20,000 on purchases he made for the baby's items. The website shares that just last weekend, Wap bought baby items for Kalysha including furniture, clothing, and toys.
To help support the report, Kalysha posted a tweet that said that everything was going well with her and the rapper. On Urban Islandz, a screenshot of the tweet can be read: "Me & @fettywap are preparing for the birth of our daughter & we want nothing but wants best for her. So kindly fk off & mind your business."
It's interesting to see that just a couple of months ago, Wap had accused Kalysha of getting pregnant on purpose. Design N Trend shared an interview where Wap said, "I'm just going to say, she knew what she was doing. I wasn't just no random dude in the club. She knew I was going to be there. That's how that happened. We talked about certain s-- that was supposed to happen. I guess she went around that s---. That's how I knew it was all planned out."
But then again, Kalysha filed a paternity suit against the rapper last month. Who knows what could have happened from the suit? The important thing is, the two are doing okay.
