'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' Updates: Sequel gets earlier release date, nears post-production; One character to die in the film?

While the fifth installment of the popular pirate-themed franchise "Pirates of the Caribbean" titled "Dead Men Tell No Tales" might see the return of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, it could also see the death of a regular character. 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' is expected to launch in the big screen on May 26, 2017.

Master Herald reports that the said release date has been scheduled earlier than planned. The sequel is supposed to be shown on July 7, 2017. However, because Disney set 'Star Wars: Episode 8' on December 15, 2017, 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' was given the opportunity to be released on Memorial Day. Thus, fans of Jack Sparrow can be delighted over this news as they can see his antics again sooner than expected.

The site also divulged that the fifth movie is anticipated to have a better quality than its predecessors. It is said that the movies that followed the pilot one (Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) have failed to execute the excellence of the very first installment. So for 'Dead Men Tell No Tales,' there are high hopes that it will deliver the same form as the first one, especially with Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg directing the film.

On the other hand, Christian Post reports that 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' is already on the stage of post-production. This is based on the post of Ronning on his Instagram account. Fans of the franchise are trying to get some news from Ronning as they are overly curious whether a character will die in the movie. However, to no avail, Ronning has not spilled any news that would spoil the launch of 'Dead Men Tell No Tales.'

SlashFilm, however, shares that Sparrow will be having trouble for this upcoming film as his old rival, Captain Salazar, is returning. Apparently, Captain Salazar and his minions, the ghost pirates, have escaped the Devil's Triangle. Now, he is on the hunt to kill every pirate which includes Sparrow.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a movie franchise which was first released in 2003. Since then the franchise have received three other movies. The film tells the tales of a pirate, Jack Sparrow, who has eccentric adventures.
