Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro Spotted on AnTuTu With Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4 GB of RAM and More

Samsung Electronics recently released the 2016 versions of its Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. Now another member of the Galaxy A family has been spotted in AnTuTu, revealing some of its prominent features. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is expected to sport Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4 GB of RAM and other amazing specs.

According to Android Geeks, aside from releasing its flagship devices, Samsung is also working on branded handsets just like the Galaxy A9 Pro. There have been reports surfacing about this smartphone and some of the most recent tackled its appearance on GFXBench benchmark, where it has been certified by Bluetooth SIG and the Chinese version of FCC, TENAA.

Also, there have been talks that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has been recently sent to India for testing purposes. If this speculation is true, then the smartphone might be released in the Chinese market. Nevertheless, there is no clear information available yet about Samsung's intentions concerning other markets. This basically means it is not yet confirmed if the Galaxy A9 Pro will be made available for purchase in countries other than China.

When it comes with the specs, Android Headlines noted that based on the AnTuTu benchmarking, the SM-A9100 also known as Galaxy A9 Pro, is expected to offer a fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor that will work hand-in-hand with an Adreno 510 GPU for graphics, a 16-megapixel shooter and an 8-megapixel snapper in the front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this device, and on top of it, users will find Samsung's TouchWiz UI.

On the other hand, the specs that were revealed by AnTuTu were quite different from the GFXBench benchmark. As per International Business Times, it has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro will be having a 5.5-inch display with 1,920x1,080 pixels and fingerprint sensor. It was also reported to have an octa core CPU clocking at 1.8GHz, an Adreno 510 GPU, a 32GB internal memory and a 4GB RAM. As for the camera, it may have a 15MP main camera with auto focus, face detection, flash, HDR photo and touch focus, as well as a 7MP front-snapper.

The same source stated that Galaxy A9 Pro will arrive with features like proximity, accelerometer, proximity, pedometer and light sensor. It is also believed to support single SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC (Near Field Communication) and GPS.

Based on the above mentioned specs, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro seems to be a high-end device but with mid-range chipset. Nevertheless, these are just based on the benchmarking and Samsung has not yet confirmed any detail regarding the device. Thus, the specs are still subject to change.
