Android Ice Cold Project, more commonly known as AICP, has finally released its version of an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow custom ROM for the OnePlus One. The unofficial AICP unofficial Marshmallow firmware is exclusive to OnePlus One a.k.a. Bacon devices only, as per MobiPicker.
According to the report, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow AICP custom ROM brings improved user experience and battery-saving features to the OnePlus One. With the firmware, users can get Marshmallow's Doze feature that can help manage the OnePlus One's battery consumption.
Along with Doze, the Android 6.0.1 AICP custom ROM also comes with Marshmallow's new security boot system and more goodies. The firmware has a download size of 285 MB. It should be noted that the custom ROM is meant only for OnePlus One models. Users with other phone models risk having their devices bricked when they install this firmware.
