GTA 6 Rumors Claim Delay Due to VR Compatibility; Launch Period 2019 at Earliest

By

Rockstar Games' supposed GTA 6 is still an unsure claim so far, but Rockstar Games is rumored to be on to something with the possible expansion. The delay in the release may seemingly be for a good cause, going alongside the rumors about the title's entire plot.

Noted by Day Herald, Rockstar Games may not have said anything yet about the possibility and existence of a GTA 6 yet, but there are already some rumors pertaining to the cause of the late launch. In the past, it was said that the departure of one important associate under the company may be the reason behind it all, a more prominent speculation claims that Rockstar Games looks to be riding in with the trend.

As per Value Walk, all the stalling points to the possibility of Rockstar Games wanting to adapt to Virtual Reality or VR Compatibility for the title. Interestingly, the approach of today's games towards VR support is that it enhances a first person shooter's overall perspective of the game, and though many may not know how this will work for GTA 6, the speculation has not moved away from where it stands. Many firmly believe that making GTA 6 completely functional under the GTA world is the primary motive of Rockstar Games for the sixth installment.

According to Parent Herald, the original speculation of GTA 6 being launched or at least being heard of by 2018 was thwarted aside due to the aforementioned cause now moved to a possible 2019. As the months may still not divulge what the title will hold, fans continue to guess what is to become of the possible sixth expansion, namely the protagonists being both male and female; voiced by Hollywood's real life couple, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes.

GTA 6 is still clipped under the curtains together with the proposed Red Dead Redemption 2 which is still a rampant rumor on its own right. Keep posted for more updates on Rockstar Games and its chart-topping titles.
