Dark Souls III Release Date Announced; Pre-Order Bonuses for Platforms Discussed

Bandai Namco and FROM Software's Dark Souls III has finally been bestowed what many fans of the series have been waiting for; a solid release date to hold on to. After many months of waiting and speculating on the said third and supposed last tile of the franchise, the entire team declares what else there is to look forward to.

According to Latin Times, a recent trailer was seen all over the web recently pertaining to entirety of Dark Souls III, as it highlights the many threats and possible missions along the way. Those who wish to take on the perilous journeys can look forward to the multiple occurrences of monsters and magic that will spice up the forthcoming expansion. The entire clip ran with the music being a cover of Cindy Lauper's True Colors, performed by Richie Kohan and Faux Fix.

It was noted by I Digital Times that fans will be glad to know the much-awaited release date has been divulged by Bandai Namco themselves. April 12th 2016 is the date to mark for Dark Souls III, which has recently made the entire community of Dark Souls III truly ecstatic that their favored series is only a mere couple of months away from hitting the shelves.

As per Parent Herald, giveaways are promised by Bandai Namco and FROM Software for those that plan on pre-ordering the third title. The bonuses, however, vary depending on the hardware that the fans are using. For the PlayStation 4, a digital copy of the game soundtrack and the Fire Fades dynamic theme will be included, but will only be delivered on the April 12th release date of the game. The Xbox One will give a free copy of the original Dark Souls, whose code can be accessed 7-10 days after the placed pre-order.

The PC version will then have the official soundtrack of the game, but still is an uncertainty whether it will be available once Dark Souls III comes out. A discount of $5 will be given to those who already own Dark Souls and Dark Souls II.
