"Deadpool" which was recently released a few weeks ago have been well received by the audience. It is certainly a box office hit that wowed the fans with its funny stunts. Now, fans are in for some more action from the notorious "Merc with a mouth" and are already expecting for "Deadpool 2".
Apparently, even before "Deadpool" was officially released on the big screen, the studio has already been discussing the possibility of a sequel, as told by Forbes. The site suggests that fans have to expect that a new character named Cable will join the sequel. Cable appears in the "Deadpool" comics which explains why he is considered to take part in the next movie.
Forbes also made a list of actors who could probably play the role of Cable. On the top of their list is Arnold Schwarzenegger, followed by Stephen Lang, Jon Hamm, Kurt Russell and Ron Perlman.
As for the plot of the next movie, Cinema Blend reports that "Deadpool 2" may stray away from its comic origin. However, in an interview with scriptwriters, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, it was revealed that they will use the same approach when it comes to writing the script for the sequel.
Aside Cable's possible appearance in"Deadpool", there are no more hints about what will happen in the sequel as it is still in its premature stage. But it is anticipated that more news about it will be revealed in the future.
Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds is in for some raise in his pay if the sequel happens. Movieweb reports that Reynolds was able to earn as much as $2 million for his character and he is expected to earn more with the box-office bonuses and backend compensation. Reynolds has plans also to discuss again his contract with 20th Century Fox for the upcoming sequel.
"Deadpool" is another successful comic-turned-movie of Marvel. His character was different from the usual heroes and brought a lot of fun to the moviegoers. He was first seen in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".
