A female rapper/model got involved in an altercation with a man in Miami early Monday. The fight was recorded on a footage and has surfaced online shortly after the incident.
Trina, aka Katrina Laverne Taylor, just proved that she was "Da Baddest Bitch" around. On Monday, the rapper was set to host an event at Justin's Bar & Lounge in Miami. But before she could enter along with her entourage, a fight started between the men.
A footage of the fight has been posted by TMZ, where a rep for the rapper has decided to settle the score and clear the ordeal. According to the rep, Trina was trying to be the peacemaker in the fight between her two friends. But instead of stopping the fight, Trina got involved when the man shoved her. This prompted the rapper to strike the man. Before Trina got joined in on the scuffle, security had stepped in to control the situation.
Footage of the fight was also shared on XXL Mag where the rapper can be heard screaming viciously "don't f-king hold me." By this time, security personnel had already stepped in to detain the incident. The rapper, however, stormed towards the front door of the establishment and kept on with her rant. "Take yo ass home with that bullshit! You got beef? Take you ass home."
After a few "You're wrong!" caught on the video, the audio starts to get shaky. The rapper started swinging her arms. Another male voice suddenly shouted "Don't hit my cousin." Shortly after, the video ends with security finally able to get between those involved in the fight.
Design N Trend shares that it was unclear why the fight began. But TMZ reported that the guy Trina was going after had just been kicked off of her tour bus. As seen on the video, Trina was actually "defending a friend." TMZ shares that the rapper was trying to tell the man to cool off and go home. But since the man shoved her, she decided to fight back.
Other than this information, there has not been any further comment on the incident. The stop at Justin's was just one of the many rounds the rapper had planned as she promoted her latest single "Fuck Boy."
