Viewers may have seen the half of Sherlock Holmes' backstory through his father since 'Elementary' premiered. But the other half may now be disclosed as Sherlock's mother may come into picture in Season 4 Episode 14. "Who is That Masked Man" is an important episode that everyone should not miss as 'big tragic revelation' will be exposed and may change the entire course of the story, reports teased.
Sherlock Holmes has never talked about his mother before. But this will soon change as 'Elementary' season 4 episode 14 will take viewers back to Holmes' "second great love", his mother. In the trailer, Morlan Holmes enlists help of his son to solve the murder of his "second great love."
"Someone I loved was annihilated," Morland tells Sherlock. The detective replies back that he knows what it is like to lose a great love, which is hinting that his mother has already passed away years ago. "It can change you," Sherlock said.
In the trailer, Sherlock also tells Joan Watson that he has never opened up anything about his mother. Design&Trend speculates that he is set to divulge something about his mother in Episode 14. In fact, Sherlock is seen conversing with Joan about the woman he adored since he was born.
Meanwhile, Christian Today reports that 'Elementary' season 4 episode 14 will also solve the murder of the three members of a local gang. Sherlock and Joan find out that the suspect is an octogenarian or elderly woman. Both cannot believe that the elderly woman could kill the big guys alone.
As per CarterMatt, the elderly woman can be a source of "comic relief." But more importantly, 'Elementary' season 4 is now revealing answers to the important issues that need to be cleared, and Sherlock's mother is one of them.
