‘The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist’ Updates: Vega Farmiga, Patrick Wilson face demon in new posters; Sequel's trailer released

Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine face a new demon in the newly released posters of "The Conjuring 2". To stir up the fans' excitement towards the sequel, Warner Bros. has also dropped the new trailer of the upcoming James Wan-helmed horror sequel.

Annabelle sure did left many viewers still scared with her appearance in the 2013's "The Conjuring", but the studio will still follow the Warrens' story in "The Conjuring 2". According to Flickering Myth, "The Conjuring 2" has released two promotional posters for the upcoming film starring Vega Farmiga and Patrick Wilson. Each poster shows Patrick Wilson holding a crucifix as he's backing up. Meanwhile, Vega Farmiga's character has her back against a wall with a face being terrified while a big hand-like shadow is reaching her.

Not only two posters were revealed, but a teaser trailer was added as well to chill up the fans' excitement. As reported by Enstars, the video featured the terrifying reunion of Ed and Lorraine Warren as a girl is shown troubled by numerous voices she's hearing and telling her terrible things. What showed next is the tremendous force overpowering the girl, Ed and Lorraine.

According to Movie Plot, "The Conjuring 2" follows the story of Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) who was travelling to 1977 England to help single mom Peggy Hodgson and her four children, particularly daughter Janet (played by Madison Wolfe).

"The Conjuring 2" is an upcoming horror film that serves as a sequel to the successful 2013 movie of the same name. Officially titled as "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist", it will see the return of Farmiga and Wilson, alongside new faces Franka Pontente, Frances O' Connor, Madison Wolfe, and Lauren Esposito. Directed by James Wan, the film is scheduled to be released on June 10.
