The well-received team-up of a not-your-usual-Viking and an adorable night fury dragon is expected to come back to hit the big screen again on 2018. How to train your dragon illustrates an unlikely friendship between Hiccup and Toothless that was first released five years ago. Now with its third installment, it seems like the movie's producer will put the audience up for some plot twist.

Korea Portal reports that for the next sequel of How to train your dragon, its story will be based on the novel of Cressida Cowell. Rumor has it also that there will be a change on the relationship between the Vikings and the dragon. If one could recall, in the ending of How to Train Your Dragon 2, the Vikings happened to live with the dragons in a village harmoniously. However, fans may be downhearted that that is not they will see for the next movie. Apparently, Hiccup and Toothless will part ways, not only them, but also the village.

Collider divulges more by saying that as Hiccup comes of age, he will rule over the Vikings and same as goes with Toothless as he turns to be the chief of the dragons. However, a conflict will arise between them that will cause them to separate ways. Apart from that, Collider also shares that Drago will be coming back in the next movie and will play a big role in the story of Hiccup and Toothless.

Cate Blanchett appears to be excited also to return for How to Train Your Dragon 2 as stated by Variety. Blanchett also shares how Dean DeBlois came up to her to offer her a role in the movie. Blanchett expresses her gladness that she took the role and is ecstatic for the next film. She also praises DeBlois on how creative and wild his imagination can get.

As of now, it is expected that the film will return on June 29, 2018. Fans will have to wait for two years before being able to see Hiccup and Toothless again.

How to Train Your Dragon is a film by DreamWorks Animation which was first released in 2010. The story revolved around the lanky son of the chief village, Hiccup, who developed an unlikely friendship with the mysterious night fury dragon, Toothless. As the story developed, Hiccup learned that there is a way to tame dragons instead of fighting with them.
