‘Predator 4’ Update: Fred Dekker confirms 4th installment with Facebook post; Arnold Schwarzenegger rumored to reprise his role

Another 80's science fiction film is crafting its way in making a name in the modern era and it is the Predator. The film is being confirmed by the writer and an actor who was featured in the first installment. Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger is being rumored to continue the character he's given life.

The writer and director of cult classic films, Fred Dekker, has expressed it on Facebook his desire to revive the Predator franchise. According to Christian Today, the director of 'Monster Squad' and 'Night of the Creeps' announced that progress for the film is on the move. His post said that 'I cannot say where I was this morning, or what I saw, or what we talked about but if you are a 'Predator' fan? One word: yes." The post instigated many fans thinking that dreadlock villains are bound to be back in the modern times since 2010's third installment.

The fourth installment is also said to be directed by the first film's actor turned director, Shane Black. Cinema Blend detailed that Shane Black, also the director of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3, has been tapped to do the fourth installment. Speaking to the media, the director said that he won't take the film to a complete reboot but would be similar to how the Jurassic World treated its predecessors. He added "as far as Fred and I are concerned, why start over when you've all this rich mythology yet to mine?"

Lastly, Youth Health Mag concluded that due to Black's treatment of the film which they described as an inventive sequel, many are clamoring that Arnold Schwarzenegger might be returning. They've stated the expert might be led to believing that the Terminator-actor could make a return as he's also praised Shane Black as a very talented guy and also sees that the Predator franchise is one of the best he's done.

Predator 4 is now in talks after the writer Fred Dekker has posted in Facebook exciting the fans with the future of the film. Dekker's post also includes news regarding Shane Black's return to the franchise but now as a director for the fourth installment. Further, Arnold Schwarzenegger is hinted to be back for the inventive sequel of the Predators.
