Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Steps Out for Deadpool Fan Event

By

It's been awhile since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds stepped out in public. But for a fan event for Reynolds' upcoming Deadpool movie, the couple decided to hire a babysitter for their 13-month old daughter so they could attend the special night. This is also the first time the two appeared together ever since Blake gave birth to their daughter, James.

The fan event for Deadpool was held in New York City on Feb. 8. As they graced the red carpet, Hollywood Life couldn't help but notice how undeniably flirty the two were. And as evident on the photos they were captured in, the two couldn't stop but crack jokes with each other and even hold each other sweetly.

With this appearance, the 28-year-old has shown how much she supports her 39-year-old husband as he welcomes the fans who made their way to the venue. The publication couldn't help but swoon over how madly in love the two looked. And even though they don't regularly make red carpet appearances anymore, it's still an exciting time whenever they do. The last time the two were photographed together was at the Angel Ball held in February 2014. Back then, the actress was still very much pregnant with their daughter.

Considering it was a fan event, hundreds of fans of the comic book movie graced the event. They even showed up in different costumes as they tried their best to imitate the bad ass superhero. As shared on the official Instagram account of the Deadpool movie, Ryan loved the attention and even went along with the fans. A photo of Ryan surrounded by fans in Deadpool masks have been posted on the social media page along with a caption that read "Best. Fans. Ever. #DeadpoolCore."

Speaking of masks, Ryan recently shared on Entertainment Tonight of how James would react whenever she saw her dad in the mask. Although she recognized his voice, she would cry whenever she saw the scar makeup. Ryan shares that this was tough on James as she saw a guy looking "like a deep fried testicle" who sounds like her father.

Catch Deadpool in theaters starting Feb. 12.
