Apple Inc. is bound to hold an event this coming March 15 where different devices are expected to make their first appearance. Three of the speculated handsets to be launched during the occasion are the iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3 and Apple Watch 2.
According to Gizmodo, Apple Inc. is nearly ready to reveal the details about its first product event of the year. There are two separate reports stating that the Cupertino-based company will be having a special media event on March 15. A budget iPhone, an iPad Air 3, and a Watch update will likely be the highlights of the show.
Pocket-lint reported that the upcoming Apple iPhone 5se which is formerly known as the iPhone 6C is the speculated successor to the colorful, 4-inch iPhone 5C. This device has been in the rumor mill for quite some time and finally, it might reveal itself at the March event.
The iPhone 5C is no longer accessible through Apple, making the iPhone 5S cheaper and smaller choice within the iPhone series. The iPhone 5SE is believed to be the replacement for the iPhone 5S, which will possibly bring a colorful metal build with it.
If rumors are true, the iPhone 5SE will sport a 4-inch display together with the same resolution as the iPhone 5S. Nevertheless, it isn't likely to arrive with any of the newer technologies like the pressure-sensitive display found on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
As for the Apple Watch, it can be remembered that Apple has announced the its first generation in September 2014. The company has announced further details of the smart watch in March 2015 and finally releasing it for purchase in April 2015. Apparently, its successor, the Apple Watch 2, might also be present on the upcoming March event.
The Apple Watch 2 has been anticipated to feature the same design and form factor as the original model, with the same rectangular screen, resolution and body. But other reports suggest that new materials will be added to the mix and features such as a front-facing video camera. It might also be armed with a chip that will allow better functionality even without a Bluetooth connection. Luckily, those super expensive straps might even still be compatible with the second generation Apple Watch.
As for the 3rd generation iPad, Neurogadget reported that it might be another aluminum tablet, but is easier to carry with one hand. The iPad Air 3 is also expected to be more comfortable for reading or playing games. This basically indicates that the tablet will be slimmer and its design might experience a few improvements. The iPad Air 3 might sport four speakers and will include a Pro-style Smart Connectors, which will allow the users to attach peripherals like keyboards.
Unluckily, the 3D Touch technology won't be added to the screen of the iPad Air 3, as Apple is currently limiting it to its iPhones. Inside its chassis could be an A9X chipset. Its battery on the other hand, is believed to last more than ten hours.
Nevertheless, it is still better to keep in mind that these specifications are just based on speculations and should be taken as a guide only.
